I build things that work. Relay servers, Android apps, network infrastructure — mostly things that shouldn't be possible for someone my age.
I'm Akande Mohammed Folarin, a 16-year-old developer from Nigeria who goes by Gidmo. I write code, manage servers, and build things that people actually use.
Right now I'm running ArenaAnywhere — a globally distributed PSP multiplayer relay service with 4 servers across 3 continents, officially integrated into PPSSPP 1.20. I built it from scratch, handle the infrastructure, and keep it running.
I work with what the problem needs, not what's fashionable. Sometimes that's C for compiled server binaries, sometimes Kotlin for Android, sometimes Node.js for the glue in between.
Free PSP ad-hoc relay service running on 4 servers across South Africa, Asia, Europe and Dubai. Built the server infrastructure, compiled custom C binaries, wrote the web platform, and shipped an Android app for direct P2P connections. Officially integrated into PPSSPP 1.20.
I'm open to interesting projects and conversations. If you're building something that needs someone who actually ships — reach out.
